STEPHEN Mulhern has hinted that he is the Masked Singer’s Bush Baby, admitting he “can sing and do magic”.
In an appearance on Loose Women on Thursday, the ITV presenter was quizzed over the identity of the singing fluffy creature.
Stephen, 43, gave away clues that he could be behind the mask, admitting he had been questioned by many of his friends.
He told the Loosse Women panel: “There’s a lot of people texting me at the moment, a couple of them are trying to catch me out as well.”
He detailed that many have already been calling him by the name of the character: “They go: ‘Hi Bush Baby’, expecting that I’m going to reply.
“It would be a shame if I gave it away so I can’t say yes, I can’t say no.”
Stephen did admit that the clues on last weekend’s show did share many similarities to him and his career – with Saturday seeing the character pull an array of fruit and vegetables out of a magicians hat.
“They did give a lot of clues away last week to the point where I was thinking I was Bush Baby,” he joked.
Not satisfied with his answers, the daytime TV ladies continued to question him, this time turning their attention to whether or not he could sing.
“I can sing, I can do magic like they said, I can do it all,” he speculated, keeping his cards close to his chest.
Viewers were quick to take to social media, sharing their agreement with the Loose Women panel that Bush Baby had to be Stephen.
“Stephen Mulhern was my guess too,” wrote one viewer on Twitter, with another quickly agreeing: “Bush Baby is Stephen Mulhern.”
“My guess for Bush Baby from day one was Stephen Mulhern and now I’m sticking with it,” a third chimed in on the debate.
The Masked Singer returns on Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
