Furious Strictly Come Dancing bosses have launched an investigation in an attempt to uncover the identity of a mole after a massive leak. An anonymous social media account recently posted the pairings for the show, revealing which professional dancer each celebrity will be competing with. This isn't the first time such leaks have occurred, as the results of each show from the previous series were also spoiled.
Enough is enough
A source close to the show expressed their frustration and concern, stating, "Enough is enough, it isn't fair on the fans, they look forward to tuning in to see who will be dancing together." The source then explained that new measures are being put in place to catch the culprit, though it may prove difficult due to the large number of people involved with Strictly Come Dancing. Nonetheless, the show's bosses are determined to find and expose the mole.
Previous leaks
Last year, the same mole leaked the identities of the celebrities who were voted off the show each week, spoiling the results for fans. An insider revealed, "For years, the audience didn't realize that the Sunday show was pre-recorded, but recently the results have been leaked, spoiling the suspense."
Tight security measures
During the filming of Strictly Come Dancing, audience members have their phones confiscated to prevent any unauthorized footage or leaks. The crowd is made up of friends and family of those participating in the show, as well as members of the general public.
