Strictly Come Dancing professionals left furious at low scores for fan-favourite routine

Shocking verdict

A trio of Strictly Come Dancing professionals were visibly shocked and angry at the judges' low scores for a fan-favorite routine. The emotive Couple's Choice performance left the BBC One stars throwing their arms in the air in disbelief.

Under-marked duo

Comedian Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell danced to a John Lennon track, Instant Karma, in a routine that included a segment in complete darkness to mimic the experience of blindness. Despite their heartfelt performance, they received a modest total of 33 points, including a seven from judge Craig Revel Horwood.

Defying expectations

Chris, who is blind due to retinitis pigmentosa, has faced challenges during training but remains determined to prove that disability is not a barrier to success. He expressed frustration at the notion of a "sympathy vote" and emphasized the importance of being judged on his own merits as a dancer.
