Strictly Come Dancing Star Vito Copola Forced to Step Back from Live Tour Due to Injury

Vito Copola's Injury

Strictly Come Dancing star Vito Copola has been replaced on the show's live tour after suffering a painful injury. He was set to perform with his celebrity partner Sarah Hadland in Birmingham this Friday when the tour was scheduled to kick off. Unfortunately, Vito, the 32-year-old Italian pro, will no longer be part of the starting line-up due to a back injury.

Vito's Update and Replacement

Vito shared on This Morning that he will miss the first three shows of the tour and will be replaced by Nikita. Despite being able to move and walk, Vito explained that the nature of dancing requires sharp twists of the body, making it necessary for him to take a break. However, he reassured viewers that he plans to return to the stage when the tour reaches Sheffield on January 21.

Exciting Prospects for the Strictly Tour

The Strictly live tour promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring dazzling group dances, jaw-dropping performances, and plenty of backstage banter. While fans may be disappointed that last year's winners won't be dancing together on the tour, they can catch Chris McCausland in his own stand-up tour starting this month. The tour commences in Birmingham on January 17, with fans eagerly anticipating the performances from their favorite stars.

Christmas Special Winner Drops Hint for 2025 Show

Following the Christmas Special win, there was speculation that drag queen Tayce and pro dancer Kai Widdrington might return for the 2025 show. Tayce hinted at the possibility during an appearance on Loose Women, stating that she wouldn't rule out a return to the main show. The duo impressed the judges with their Cha-Cha performance, receiving high praise from Craig Revel Horwood. Tayce, who rose to fame on RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2021, showcased her talent and left a mark on the Strictly stage.
