Strictly faces new fix row as fans claim show favourites are ‘overmarked’

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are once again up in arms as they claim contestants favoured by the judges are being ‘overmarked’.

On Saturday, Tilly Ramsay and her dance partner Nikita Kuzmin wowed the judges with their dramatic Paso Doble.

Some viewers claim Dan Walker and pro partner Nadiya Bychkova were overmarked also

Their interpretation of the Spanish dance earned them 32 points and joint second place on the leaderboard alongside Adam Peaty and Katya Jones.

Despite the judges’ praise, viewers at home were left annoyed and claimed the young chef was “overmarked” on Twitter.

“So they think that was equal to Tilly…. F**k right off….Adam and Katya were way better. Just shows how overmarked Tilly was. #strictly,” a viewer shared.

Another wrote: “Tilly was overmarked but she has been for the past three weeks. They really want their money’s worth out of her!”

A third viewer commented: “I really think Tilly is being overmarked.”

“Tilly was ridiculously overpraised and overmarked and I don’t even mind her,” a Strictly fan claimed.

A fourth added: “I’m sorry but strictly this year. The scoring is ridiculous. They overmarked tilly I was completely with Craig it was too Stompy.

“Feel like we are watching a different show.”

“Tilly being overmarked again,” another concluded. “Tilly overmarked, Rose seriously undermarked. Really inconsistent from all 4 judges imho”.

And it’s not only Tilly who is facing Strictly fans’ wrath online as many claimed Dan Walker was overmarked and shouldn’t have been given 26 points out of 40 for his Cha Cha Cha with pro partner Nadiya Bychkova.

One furious fan penned: “Dan is ridiculously overmarked every week. He’s got the enthusiasm and movement of a wooden plank.

“Who the f**k keeps voting for him?! #Strictly,” a second shared.

While another claimed: “#Strictly it’s a fix #BBC Dan can’t dance come on people it’s about the dancing #notfair”.

“Dan well overmarked,” a fan penned. “Though, for consistency, where’s the comments of Dan being overmarked?”

Earlier this week, we reported how Strictly fans all had the same complaint after “unfair” scoring puts show favourite at risk.

Comedian Judi Love, 41, performed a moving Waltz dedicated to her parents which left viewers in tears – but only scored 24.

Actor Greg Wise, 55, danced a Samba with dance partner Karen Hauer to the Macarena by Los Del Rio, scoring themselves 19 points from the four judges – and ultimately were voted off.

At the top of the leaderboard was Dragon’s Den star Sara Davies with 36, but some viewers were left disappointed by the judges scores for Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu as well as Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice.
