STRICTLY Come Dancing fans rejoiced tonight as Gorka, Giovanni and Johannes performed in drag during a spectacular Musicals Week opener.
With many theatres across the country still closed due to Covid-19, the BBC dancing show wanted to pay tribute with this year’s Musicals Week.

The opening number had a Priscilla Queen of the Desert theme and part way through, it saw the three male professionals swap their denim and vest tops for full drag.
As they came out from behind the camper van at the back of the dancefloor, they sported colourful wigs, heels and makeup while showing off their moves and flicking their fans.
Viewers were delighted by the extravaganza, with one writing on Twitter: “Giovanni and Gorka doing drag – I need say no more #strictly. Also Johannes , Category is QUEEN.”
Another added: “Still not over Johannes, Gio and Gorka absolutely acing the Drag Family Resemblance challenge tbh.”
A third tweeted: “I’ve had Gorka shirtless, in drag, and in glasses in the last half hour I have been blessed honestly.”
Meanwhile another added: “Giovanni and Gorka in drag was very welcome.”
The trio delivered even more to fans as they had a further costume change as they ditched the trousers to show off their legs in mini skirts.
Musicals Week marks the quarter final point of the series, which is shorter this year due to Covid-19.
With just two weeks left until the final, there are still six couples left in the competition.
The celebrities fighting it out to make it to the semi-final next week are Jamie Laing, Bill Bailey, HRVY, Maisie Smith, Ranvir Singh and JJ Chalmers.
