STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are practically jumping for joy as Nicola Roberts has signed up for the show.
The former Girls Aloud star will be one of the stars competing for the title of festive champion in the special Christmas instalment of the show.

Fans are tipping the former Girls Aloud star to dance her way to victory
Nicola, 37, is best known for her work in the hit group Girls Aloud alongside Nadine Coyle, Kimberly Walsh, Sarah Harding and Cheryl Tweedy.
And the BBC announced the Call The Shots artist will be putting on her dancing shoes and heading to the ballroom studios.
The former Can’t Speak French singer will be partnered with fan favourite professional dancer, Giovanni Pernice when the celebrity dance competition returns for its annual spectacular on Christmas Day.
Whilst sans flooded social media with praise for the star as they have tipped the former Biology hitmaker to win the show.
Before she even took a single step into the ballroom, one fan wrote: “she’s a guaranteed winner.”
A second commented: “Wow the winner.”
Whilst a third noted: “Oh she’s winning.”
A fourth exclaimed: “Hard to see past her winning especially as she’s paired with Giovanni.”
Whilst a fifth said: “Queen Bee for the win.”
Strictly officially announced the news on Twitter writing: “Preparing to put on a show in our Christmas Special, say hello to Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts.”
Speaking to the BBC, Nicola said: “It’s truly an honour to be part of Strictly, but to be invited on to the prestigious Christmas day episode is something very special indeed.
“They’ve promised me extra glitter, sparkle and frosting all wrapped
up together with a big bow on top. What more could a girl wish for?”
This will also be the first time Giovanni, 32, has competed in the Christmas edition of the long-running dance competition.
The completion also features the likes of actor Larry Lamb whilst Radio 1 DJ Rickie Haywood-Williams will be put through his paces by pro dancer Luba Mushtuk for the festive competition.
Podcast star Rosie Ramsey will also be battling for the glitterball troph whilst Corrie star Alexandra Mardell is also competing to be crowned champion over the festive period.
The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special 2022 will air on BBC One on Christmas Day.
