This was Buswell's second time reaching the final in her seven seasons on Strictly Come Dancing. Her previous final appearance was in 2018 with YouTube star Joe Sugg. In 2021, Robert Webb had to withdraw from the show due to medical reasons, and last year Buswell missed out on the final after being eliminated during Blackpool week with Tyler West.
