JAMES and Ola Jordan have shared their predictions on who will be the first to leave Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.

Despite Tony Adams finding himself at the bottom of the leaderboard, James and Ola don’t think the former Arsenal star will be the first to get the boot.

This year’s live shows finally kicked off in style on Saturday night after the launch was pushed back due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Dream team Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman returned once again to host the 20th series of the BBC show, as a new batch of celebrities took to the dancefloor.

Saturday’s show saw actor Will Mellor and wildlife presenter Hamza Yassin place joint top of the leaderboard, both achieving an impressive score of 34 in week one.

The Two Pints of Lager and a Packet Of Crisps actor received a standing ovation after his electric jive to Livin’ La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin with his partner Nancy Xu.

Towards the lower end of the leaderboard, Loose Women presenter Kaye Adams and her partner Kai Widdrington sit just above singer Matt Goss and Nadiya Bychkova.

Former footballer Tony and Katya currently occupying the dreaded bottom place after the first live show.

“I don’t think it did him any harm in week one, I know that no one was going out,” James said about Tony’s poor score.

“But I think people will be on his side next week. I will be sitting there willing him to do well.”

Writing in their HELLO! column, Ola suggested Kaye and Kai could be a good bet as to who will be voted off first this weekend, as well as Matt and Nadiya.

She said: “The thing with Matt Goss is that everyone has high hopes, and he wasn’t quite there.”

James added: “It came across as he wanted it too much. Sometimes people don’t like that, and won’t pick up the phone and vote for him. I’m sure he’s a lovely guy!”

Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One this Saturday.
