In "Life in the Royal Navy," JJ and Julia will explore the inner workings of the Royal Navy across three episodes. They will visit the UK's largest warship, meet Royal Marine Commando recruits, and delve into the historical events that have shaped the Navy.
A Glimpse into the Royal Navy
In the premiere episode airing on Tuesday 13 August, Julia Bradbury boards the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales, experiencing the power of F-35 jets and daily life for the crew. Meanwhile, JJ Chalmers visits the Marine Commando Training Centre in Devon, witnessing the transformation of civilians into elite commandos.
Busy Schedule for JJ Chalmers
Aside from his work on the Royal Navy series, JJ Chalmers is also involved in covering the Olympic Games and will be part of Channel 4's Paralympics coverage later this year. Due to his commitments, production on his series Travelling Auctioneers has been paused until October.
