Strictly Come Dancing star Ore Oduba has announced his split from his wife Portia after nine years of marriage. The 38-year-old shared the news with fans today, revealing that the couple, who have two children together, made the decision to end their relationship earlier this year.

Ore Oduba and Portia met and fell in love back in 2010 at Loughborough University. Four years later, Ore proposed to Portia, and the couple tied the knot the following year at Penshurst Place in Kent in November 2015.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Roman, in early 2018. Their second child, daughter Genie, was born in 2021.

Reflecting on their wedding day, Ore shared, "On my wedding day I cried from 11 in the morning until 2 am that night. There’s a picture of me wailing, my best men there laughing, and Portia absolutely cracking up next to me – I am the only one crying."

Ore Oduba won Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 alongside Joanne Clifton. He mentioned that the experience brought him and Portia closer together, despite the challenges of the Strictly "curse." Ore shared how important it was for him to involve his wife in the experience and ensure she felt included.
