Strictly star Amy Dowden was rushed to hospital after collapsing backstage following the main show. The Welsh dancer, who has Crohn's Disease and has battled cancer, was attended by paramedics at Elstree Studios and taken away in an ambulance.
Health scare
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed the incident, stating that Amy was transported to Barnet Hospital for further care. The BBC did not confirm if she took part in the results show following the collapse.

In a statement, Amy's spokesperson mentioned that she was feeling unwell and thanked the Strictly family for their support. Amy, 34, has faced health challenges in the past, including battling stage three breast cancer and Crohn's Disease.
