Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden, 32, has expressed her relief at completing her breast cancer treatment. The professional dancer was diagnosed in May and underwent a mastectomy and chemotherapy.

Amy's journey

Speaking to Women's Health, Amy beams in a pink ballgown as she shares her emotions following her last chemotherapy session. She says, "I still can't believe I had my last chemo on Thursday. The relief is like no other. It's been my toughest journey so far, but I did it."

Updating her followers on Instagram, Amy revealed that she is currently feeling a bit "in limbo" as she adjusts to her new routine. She posted a poignant video of herself ringing the cancer treatment bell, symbolizing the end of her treatment. Amy wrote, "Can't believe it's a whole two weeks ago! I'm off to the unit again today for my monthly injection. But it does feel strange as when you're in chemo cycles, there's such a routine, and at the moment, you feel a little in limbo! But still so very proud of this moment!"
