STRICTLY judge Craig Revel Horwood has reignited his feud with James Jordan, labelling the former dancer “bitter and twisted”.
Sharp-tongued Craig, 55, didn’t mince his words when asked about James’s criticism of this year’s series.
The opinionated star, 42, said the 2020 edition fell well short of the show’s usual standards, and it hasn’t impressed Craig.
He told OK! magazine: “Oh, he would say that. Honestly, we won’t make amends until he stops slagging me off!
“His comments and scores on Twitter always tally up with mine. He thinks the same as I do and it makes me laugh because he clearly wants my job!”
And there’s no way back to the Elstree ballroom for James, according to Craig.
He continued: “Not in a million years. He’s too bitter, he’s too twisted! We’d have a laugh on the panel – I’d put him in his place!”
Just last year James said Craig should be axed from the show after a gag about Anton Du Beke’s teeth live on air backfired.
Craig was left red-faced after mocking Anton’s ‘comedy’ teeth – not realising they were real.
It prompted James to say the BBC show no longer needed “Mr Nasty”.
“The show doesn’t need Craig. He should go,” James told The Daily Star.
“If Craig was gone they wouldn’t notice any difference at all.
“The viewers wouldn’t miss him either. No-one would miss him.”
Both Len Goodman and Darcey Bussell have quit the judging panel in recent years.
And James said if the show can exist without them – it can cope with losing Craig.
“Len was a much bigger personality than Craig and the show is still huge without him.
“So it would still be a big success.
“Strictly will always be a juggernaut of a show no matter who you have on there. The format just works.”
While in 2016 Craig’s critique of James’s wife Ola’s raunchy calendar left his old foe seething.
He raged at the time: “How can he say it’s not OK to sell a sexy Christmas calendar, but it is OK to sell his own book telling the world he was a drunken rent boy, and call it All Balls and Glitter.”
