Fans have been wondering if there will ever be another series – and the good news has finally been confirmed.
The show, which follows the stories of current missing people, as well as those from the past, will be back very soon.
Dan, who has now become a huge TikTok sensation boasting 70.5k followers on the platform, speaks to those involved in the cases, as well as police and charities.
Channel 5 commissioner Daniel Pearl previously said: “It is clearly a sensitive and emotional subject, and ITN Productions will work closely with the families, friends and the primary organisations, including relevant police forces and charities, involved in missing persons cases.”
Viewers all said the same thing when the show kicked off – that they were very impressed with the programme.
The programme was created after Dan presented a live one-off programme based around the disappearance of Nicola Bulley.
On Twitter, one fan wrote: “Bit macabre but used to love Crimewatch, this looks nearly as good! #Vanished @channel5_tv.”
Another echoed those thoughts, declaring: “This new channel 5 show, #Vanished with Dan Walker is giving me major Crimewatch vibes.”
As a third said: “This show should have been running since Crimewatch but it’s good it’s being done now! #vanished.”
