Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice has reassured fans that he will be returning to the show following a recent injury. The professional dancer, who was forced to take a step back from his tour with Anton Du Beke after twisting his ankle, took to Instagram to deny rumors that he would miss the entire series.

Recovering and ready to dance

Giovanni, in response to a fan question on social media, confirmed that he is fully recovered and excited to be back on the Strictly stage. He expressed gratitude for the concern about his ankle, assuring followers that it is much better now.

A setback earlier in the year

In July, the Italian dancer shared the unfortunate news that he would be missing several stage performances due to his ankle injury. He apologized to fans and explained that he needed to rest in order to come back stronger for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Giovanni, who won Strictly in 2021 with Rose Ayling-Ellis, is set to make a full return to the show. As one of the popular professional dancers, fans can look forward to seeing him on the dance floor when Strictly Come Dancing returns to our screens later this month.
