STRICTLY Come Dancing viewers were left in tears at Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice’s silent dance.
The professional dancer held back tears as he told his EastEnders actress partner that he loved her following the emotional moment.
Fans took to Twitter to reveal they were “sobbing” over the stunning contemporary number performed to Clean Bandit’s hit Symphony.
Viewers broke down when the music stopped midway through the performance seeing deaf star Rose, 26, and Giovanni, 31, dance in complete silence.
They were also left “screaming” for the pair to “kiss” as the dancer told Rose “I love you” as they embraced at the end of their dance.
“No dance on Strictly has ever made me cry so many tears,” one woman wrote, as a second chimed in: “Giovanni and Rose you have made me cry!”
“Rose & Giovani’s dance has pretty much broken me. May go off in a corner and cry for a bit,” a third agreed of the emotional dance.
“I am full on sobbing at Rose and Giovanni’s couple’s choice dance,” wrote a fourth as a fifth concluded: “Between sobbing I was screaming ‘kiss her’!”
The judges were equally impressed with the pair’s dance, scoring Rose and Giovanni a huge 39 points as they soared to second place in the leaderboard.
Head judge Shirley Ballas stood up “in respect” as praised the performance as one that would “be etched in her heart for a long, long time”.
Anton Du Beke, who has been part of the Strictly cast since its debut in 2004, called it the “greatest thing he has ever seen on the show” as he held back tears.
Even harsh judge Craig Revel Horwood had good things to say, simply calling the routine “fabulous”, while Motsi concluded that it was “so special”.
Rose and Giovanni then went up stairs to chat with co-host Claudia Winkleman- but not before Rose shared a touching tribute to her dance partner.
“I feel very thankful for your determination to make this dance the most positive, happy dance it can be because you know that being deaf, there’s nothing wrong and it’s such a joy to be deaf,” she said.
“I think that says a lot about you as a person,” Rose concluded as Giovanni began to get emotional, pulling her in for a hug and kissing her forehead.
Holding back tears, he continued: “The positivity that you give every day is out of this world, so I’m the one that’s very thankful to you. Thank you so much.”
It comes after Rose revealed that she’s left EastEnders to focus on her dancing.
The actress shocked fans when character Frankie Lewis left Albert Square on Tuesday night.
Rose – who plays Danny Dyer’s onscreen daughter – decided she needed a break from Walford after she was left fearing for her life last week.
Viewers were left sobbing as Frankie said an emotional goodbye to her dad Mick Carter and departed in a taxi to go stay with a friend.
“Normally, EastEnders makes you work at the same time as doing Strictly, but EastEnders gave me time off, so I can just focus on Strictly completely,” Rose told Metro.
