STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Jamie Laing promised to PROPOSE to his girlfriend Sophie Habboo if he wins tonight.
The Made In Chelsea star, 32, incentivised fans to pick up the phones for him as he promised this romantic treat.
Jamie and professional Karen Hauer performed their Charleston from Movie Week, which was to Zero to Hero from Hercules.
He managed to secure an eight from Craig Revel Horwood, and two nines from Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse.
The star previously said he would propose to Sophie – who he has dated since April 2019 – telling OK! magazine in October: “You know what? Maybe I should do that. When I lift the trophy I might propose to her at the same time.
“Honestly, she would be furious if I did it on the Strictly dance floor, on the TV. It would be her worst nightmare. So between us, I will propose to her when I win Strictly.”
He added: “The goal in life is to have a family. The meaning of life is to love, isn’t it? And of course I want children with Habbs.
“And if she wants to do it, I’m game! But we’ll see what happens.”
He then joked he would marry Karen if he got through to the final.
Asked what he will do when he wins Strictly at a press conference ahead of the final, the reality star said: “Marrying Karen.”
Jamie was forced to pull out of the 2019 season due to injury; he was replaced by Kelvin Fletcher, who went on to win the show.
