STRICTLY Come Dancing star said she was left stunned when she reunited with Kai Widdrington ten years after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent.
The CBBC presenter, 21 and professional ballroom dancer Kai, 27, both appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2012.

Molly also revealed if music mogul Simon Cowell has been in touch since wowing him on the ITV competition a decade ago.
Speaking to The Celeb Report, Molly said: “I was dancing against Kai the same year, which is crazy, so it’s been nice to see him after ten years.
“Simon [Cowell] hasn’t been in touch.
“I’ve had a few messages from contestants from that year, so Charlotte from Jonathan and Charlotte, she messaged recently saying it was so nice to see me on telly doing something out of my comfort zone.”
The TV presenter said taking to the dancefloor each week is more nerve-wracking than picking up a mic.
“It’s very different as a kid because you have no idea what the audience is like or who is at home watching, so now I’m an adult it’s scarier because I know the risk now,” she continued.
“But I still get the same nerves whether I’m singing or dancing, that doesn’t change, but it’s nice to do it with a partner rather than on my own.”
Molly first found fame aged 11 when she became the youngest ever finalist of Britain’s Got Talent.
However, she chose to continue her studies after BGT, with Simon Cowell and Sony Music honouring her with their first ever drama school scholarship at internationally renowned Sylvia Young Theatre School.
After graduating, Molly bagged the title role as intergalactic pop superstar Nova Jones in the hit CBBC show of the same name.
Meanwhile, Kai reached the final of the sixth series of Britain’s Got Talent the same year as Molly appeared on the show.
He entered the competition as a duo with dance partner Natalia Jeved.
Kai – who was aged 16 at the time of the audition – wowed the judges with a dance routine to a rendition of Show Me How You Burlesque by Christina Aguilera, with Kai lifting and spinning Natalia.
Comedian and panellist David Walliams remarked: “I was worried when you started, I was like do I really want to see people do ballroom dancing [but] actually I do think you two are fantastic dancers.”
Amanda Holden added: “The footwork was perfect, I really really found it entertaining.”
Between 2017 and 2020, he was a professional dancer on the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars, and in 2021, he became a professional dancer on the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.
Viewers were stunned by surprise link, with one writing: “Had anyone else realised that @mollyrainford and @Kaiwidd were both in the 2012 @BGT final? Now 10 years later reunited on #Strictly!”
Another posted: “Kai and Molly were in Britain’s Got Talent 10 years ago together. It must be strange being back on the same show again.”
