Strictly’s Nadiya Bychkova laughs as she’s seen for the first time since split from footballer fiance is revealed

STRICTLY Come Dancing pro Nadiya Bychkova was seen laughing in the street as it was revealed she’s split from her fiance.

The stunning 32-year-old – who was partnered with Dan Walker on the dance hit – has broken up with footballer Matija Škarabot.

She and the father of her five-year-old daughter Mila are thought to have struggling with a long-distance relationship.

Wearing a cap and shades and clutching a Starbucks coffee, Nadiya seemed in high spirits in Birmingham.

Alongside with several other stars of the recent series of Strictly Come Dancing, she was heading to a day of tour rehearsals.

The Ukrainian-Slovenian dancer is said to be focused on the show and its popular UK tour. Meanwhile, her fiancé, 33, remains in Slovenia.

Nadiya – who left Strictly in tears after she and Dan were eliminated – has been seen without her engagement ring in recent weeks.

They came fifth in last year’s series with dad-of-three Dan, who is married to his university sweetheart Sarah.

Speaking about the split, a source told MailOnline: “Nadiya and Matija haven’t been together for some time now.

“Matija is dedicated to his footballing career in Slovenia and Nadiya is predominantly based in London.

“Performing on Strictly and the Strictly Live Tour takes up half her year, in the end the commitment to their jobs made it too difficult for the relationship to work.

“There’s still a lot of love and respect between them and Mila is and always will be their priority.”

BBC breakfast host Dan formed a close bond with his Strictly partner Nadiya during the series.

The Celeb Report revealed how Nadiya consoled her close pal Dan Walker in his dressing room after he broke down on the tenth anniversary of the death of his pal Gary Speed.

The pair were seen hugging backstage at the BBC’s Elstree studios and Dan sobbed on her shoulder.
