ORE Oduba has reunited with his dad for the first time in nearly three years.
The Strictly star feared he wouldn’t see his father, who lives in Nigeria, again after Covid kept them apart, but was overcome with emotion as they finally spent time together.
The reunion was even more special as his dad got the chance to meet Ore and wife Portia’s second child Genie for the first time.
Sharing a series of pictures from their time together, he said: “After nearly 2 and a half years we FINALLY got to see my dad…
“We haven’t seen him since 2019 !!!! He’s 85 and has been struggling along over in Nigeria ever since.. and with everything that’s happened in that time (A LOT!!!) it’s fair to say we weren’t sure whether we’d see him again… but thank God he made it.
“And finally met his fourth grandchild. This morning he left for the airport… it’s been a very emotionally charged 24 hours
last pic is the last time he saw Roman!!!!”
