STRICTLY’s Ranvir Singh has admitted she has a “connection” with pro dancer Giovanni Pernice after fans spotted their chemistry on the BBC show.
Good Morning Britain’s political editor fuelled romance rumours in her latest post on Instagram when she called the Italian hunk, 30, a “beautiful, passionate dancer”.

Sharing a photo of the pair embracing on Strictly, Ranvir, 44, said: “Just thought I’d share with you my last official @bbcstrictly photo with my partner @pernicegiovann1 .. as I get ready for bed before hosting @lorraine tomorrow.
“What can I say that hasn’t already been said..? An extraordinary experience, with a beautiful passionate dancer, that has no doubt seen us both grow.. so so proud of the dances we performed.
“Thank you so much for willing us on and hope looking back you have some memorable moments as you watched from home, just as we do from dancing in that magical studio for you. Connection is everything. xx
”
Ranvir has kept her relationship status private but it is believed she is currently single – which has certainly helped fuel the rumours around her and Giovanni who was spotted kissing her on the Strictly dance floor.
On GMB, Ranvir told co-host Susanna Reid about the couple’s ‘deep’ and ‘intense’ experience, though insisted she and Giovanni were no more than friends.
“We’ve experienced something quite deep and quite intense actually. That’s a very special thing so of course we’ll stay friends.”
The star, who is set to host ITV’s Lorraine over Christmas, shared a rare snap of her son Tushaan after he got a dramatic haircut inspired by Giovanni.
She shared a ‘before’ photo of eight year old Tushaan’s shoulder-length black locks, writing: “From this… My little boy…!”
It was quickly followed by the ‘after’ photo of his newly-chopped crop – which does bear significant resemblance to Giovanni’s hair.
She joked: “To this! It’s the influence of @pernicegiovann1”
The TV star recently admitted on Lorraine that her energy dipped slightly towards the end of the series, as the responsibilities of motherhood came first during filming.
She confessed: “I think it’s just a build-up of a lack of sleep and working, and then obviously I have got a son to go home to so I couldn’t really train until 10pm.
“I needed to go home, that’s my job, my main job is being a mum so it’s a lot of juggling but it was amazing to do.”
Tushaan is Ranvir’s only child, who she shares with ex-husband Ranjeet Singh Dehal.
