Superman actor Tom Holland revealed he failed an audition for BBC’s Peaky Blinders

The Hollywood star didn’t make the cut for the crime based show

Discussing the snub with LADbible, Tom’s fans were asked: “What TV show would you most like to see Tom Holland in?”

The criminal gang series was ranked in third place, which lead Tom to reveal that he missed out on appearing in the show.

He said: “I actually auditioned for Peaky Blinders and I did not get the part.”

Tom then admitted that he’d happily sign up for ITV’s I’m A Celebrity after the show was placed first by fans.

The BAFTA winner said: “I actually would love to do that.

“I find the eating stuff really difficult, that would not be fun, but I would be alright in the small spaces and good at the athletic challenges.

“But I also have such a short temper and I am so impatient, so I would find some of the people in there very irritating.”

It comes after fans of Tom’s girlfriend Zendaya had a lot to say when her waxwork at Madame Tussaud’s was revealed.

It showed the actress wearing a bright pink suit and posing with her hand on her hip.

But fans of Zendaya were quick to share their thoughts, and not everyone was convinced by the waxwork.

One wrote: “That’s not Zendaya… This looks more like a mix of Kylie Jenner and Nicki Minaj
?
.”

Another said: “How does this both look like her and look nothing like her at the same time???”

One confused fan wrote: “I can’t tell if this looks like her or not and it’s stressing me out.”

Tom and Zendaya set the internet wild with dating rumours in 2017.

The couple – called Tomdaya by fans – has been a fan favorite since they first appeared alongside each other in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

An insider told People magazine at the time that “they started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man.”

“They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.”

The source added: “They’re both really ambitious, and they challenge each other — but, most importantly, they make each other crack up. They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth.”

The pair shut down the rumors, however, claimed that they were the “best of friends.”

On July 1, 2021, The Celeb Report then exclusively obtained photos of the pair kissing, reigniting the rumor mill that the pair are in fact dating.

The rumors then intensified in September after Holland uploaded a picture of the pair to Instagram for Zendaya’s birthday, captioning the snap: “My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your up xxx”

In November, after, Holland was named GQ’s Superhero of the Year, Zendaya was seen bragging about her rumored man saying he’s “incredible to watch,” while Spider-Man himself opened up about the struggles of a celerity relationship.

“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world,” Holland told the media outlet.

“I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway,” he continued, adding “We sort of felt robbed of our privacy.”

Holland continued, saying that, “I don’t think it’s about not being ready [to talk about the relationship] It’s just that we didn’t want to.”
