Mark Your Calendars
Fans won't have to wait long, as Survivor will hit screens on Saturday, October 28 at 8:25pm on BBC One. The excitement continues the following night with a second episode airing at 8pm.
A Battle for Immunity
The contenders will be divided into two tribes and will compete for the opportunity to win immunity in each episode. At every stage, players will be voted out by the Tribe Council until the two tribes eventually merge, turning the game into a head-to-head survival battle.
A £100,000 Prize
The stakes are high, with one lucky survivor set to claim a whopping £100,000 prize. The show was filmed earlier this year in the Dominican Republic, with Joel Dommett at the helm.
A Comeback for the Ages
Survivor originally premiered in 2001 with two series on ITV. The show featured a group of contestants stranded on a remote island, battling to survive and win a £1 million prize.
Meet the Contestants
The full lineup for the show was recently revealed. Among the contestants are Christopher, a 36-year-old singer and songwriter, and fitting model Jess. They will be joined by fitness instructor Nathan, who is determined to succeed on the programme. Nathan shared his motivation, saying, "I very much believe in the concept of Kaizen (a Japanese term for continuous improvement) and I try to apply this concept to every part of my life. When I reflect on when I’ve grown the most, it has always been on the back of significantly challenging times, adversity, or hardship."
Nathan also underwent an intense training programme to prepare for the game.
Survivor is set to captivate audiences once again as contestants battle it out for survival and the chance to claim the ultimate prize. Don't miss out on the action!
