SUSANNA Reid swooned over a young Richard Madeley today after his son Jack revealed a photo of the I’m A Celebrity star in the seventies.
The photo flashed up on screen as Susanna heaped praise on Richard, 65, for counselling Naughty Boy in the I’m A Celeb castle last night.
Richard left GMB fans doing a double take when they saw the old snaps of the Richard and Judy star in his seventies get-up.
The fresh-faced youngster teamed his trademark blonde barnet with very tight bell bottom jeans and en-trend heeled boots.
The best part was his tight cream shirt which he left unbuttoned to show off his toned chest.
Susanna, 50, remarked today: “Not only is he an agony uncle, he’s also fantastic in flares.”
Richard’s son Jack, 35, shared the photo on Instagram.
He captioned it: “Lots of lovely comments about how well Richard is looking in the castle, but do you think he could still rock a pair of flares?”
Naughty Boy, Richard, Arlene Phillips, David Ginola and Danny Miller have been living it rough in The Clink on I’m A Celeb – and it’s certainly started to take its toll on the group.
Naughty Boy told friends in The Clink he was angry with celebs in the main camp, who he felt picked him for Treacherous Traps trial as he was the weakest.
Attempting to console him, Richard said: “You’re reading too much into this. You did really well today and I know you keep saying ‘no I didn’t’, but yes you did.”
Richard was one of 10 celebrities to arrive at Gwrych Castle in Wales for this year’s series of I’m A Celeb.
On Sunday, his veteran TV presenter wife Judy, 73, was seen in a photo on Instagram at home with the couple’s children Chloe, 34, and Jack, 35, watching the show.
Fans were impressed by Judy’s youthful appearance in the snap, with one writing: “Judy looks amazing!”
