TEEN Mom Amber Portwood gave off a rare smile while she was studying at home for a Purdue University degree after the fall-out from Gary Shirley.
Amber, 30, shared a snapshot of herself on Instagram.
The Teen Mom star was drinking from a container from Purdue University.
The reality star was “sending love” to her followers as she showed how much of a “proud student” she was.
In the caption of the photo, Amber wrote: “We may not be able to change our past but we can definitely change our future!”
She added: “Let’s try and have a good day and be proud you are trying to be a better you!”
Amber had received backlash from Teen Mom fans for prioritizing her schooling over fixing her estranged relationship with her daughter Leah, 12.
The MTV star previously took to social media and shared an update while she prepped her computer and notebooks for the day.
The Teen Mom star captioned her photo: “Lots and lots of notes after only a couple of days of classes. Working hard and hoping for the best. So far so good! #universitylife.”
Recently, Amber’s ex Gary, 34, had praised his wife Kristina, 40, for being able to balance “kids and responsibilities.”
Gary is a father to Leah Leann, 12, who he shares with his ex Amber.
He also shares Emilee, six, with his wife Kristina.
Leah has primarily been parented by Gary and Kristina.
While being a stepmother, Kristina has also been attending school to become a registered medical assistant and is expected to graduate in September.
Though he took his wife out on date night, she ended up snuggling in her seat with two blankets around her.
Gary wrote: “She will prolly kill me for this JK, but my Date is passed out Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
“She’s been going hard with school and studying and keeping up with the kids… she gets up at 4:45AM Yikes!!!
“My hat is off to all the parents who take care of their kids and responsibilities.”
Recently, Amber’s ex Andrew Glennon has been in a heated custody battle with her over their three-year-old son James.
Since 2019, The Teen Mom OG star has been fighting for her son’s custody after she was arrested for domestic violence in July that same year.
The Celeb Report exclusively revealed Andrew’s lead lawyer on the case had filed a Motion to Withdraw Appearance as counsel of record for Andrew.
This means she no longer wishes to represent her client.
A judge has yet to sign off on the withdrawal, as a 10-day letter must be provided in accordance with Indiana Trial Rules.
Fortunately for Andrew, his two other attorneys have not filed to withdraw.
