AMBER Portwood looked entirely different in a throwback photo as she reminisced on having platinum blonde hair.
The Teen Mom OG star has stirred controversy with her social media posts of late, as many fans recall her troubled past.
Amber, 31, took to Instagram on Thursday to share an old selfie with her 1.7million followers.
The reality star sported shoulder-length platinum blonde locks in the photo, with heavy bangs that covered her entire face.
Underneath the mass of hair, the TV personality wore full-glam makeup complete with purple lipstick.
Amber finished off the look with a red top as she embraced the holiday spirit.
The mother of two captioned her shot: “Thinking of going platinum for the holidays.. what do you guys think – 
Or 
? ” as she asked fans for their opinion.
The MTV star appeared virtually unrecognizable in the post as she has embraced her natural curls and brunette color for years.
Although Amber’s followers raced to the comments to gush over her “beautiful” throwback, many have not approved of her other recent photos.
HISTORY OF ‘VIOLENCE’
Earlier this week, fans accused her of “poking fun at her own domestic violence” arrests after she shared a new picture about “fighting.”
The controversial star was arrested in July 2019 for domestic violence against her then-boyfriend Andrew Glennon.
Amber appeared to joke about the serious topic while promoting her merch line, PortwoodAF.
In her latest promo photo, the Teen Mom sat on a bed in a pair of salmon-colored leggings and her white T-shirt with “Unfollow me” written on one corner of it.
Sitting criss-cross, she threw a pillow into the air and looked up at it, smiling.
Amber wrote in the caption: “Personally, I’m more into pillow fights these days but I’ll always be a #fighterforlfe”
She added some hashtags, calling herself a “fighter” and making a note of her “personal strength.”
‘TONE-DEAF’
Fans on Reddit accused her of making light of her past domestic violence arrests in the caption and were not happy about it.
One upset user wrote: “I can’t decide which is worse… 1) To think that Amber is so insanely tone-deaf that she would add the hashtag ‘FighterForLife’ after two domestic abuse situation.
“2) She knows exactly what she is doing and genuinely takes pride in knowing she got away with it.”
Another commented: “Fighter for “lfe” (life) hashtag, like everyone should forget she’s literally still on probation for assaulting her ex while he was holding their child, and trying to hack through the door at them with a f***ing machete.”
A third said: “I know she’s not the brightest bulb, but surely even she can appreciate how this looks especially given her two domestic violence convictions? StupidAF”
Others told Amber she needs to “read the room” and called the whole thing “pathetic,” while another said: “Pillow fights are better than machete fights, I guess.
END OF PROBATION
In September, The Celeb Report revealed Amber was “on track” to successfully complete her probation after being sentenced to 906 days with a plea deal in October 2019.
The TV star was arrested in July 2019 after Andrew accused her of hitting him with a shoe while he held their 3-year-old son James, who was one at the time, during a fight.
He claimed she tried to break down a door with a machete, as he and James were locked inside to protect themselves from Amber.
