TEEN Mom OG star Amber Portwood’s baby daddy Andrew Glennon’s lawyer requested to drop out of their nasty custody battle ahead of trial.
Amber, 31, and her ex-boyfriend Andrew, 37, have been fighting over custody of their son James, 3, since their split in 2019.

The Celeb Report can exclusively reveal Andrew’s lead lawyer on the case filed a Motion to Withdraw Appearance as counsel of record for Andrew, meaning she no longer wishes to represent her client.
A judge has yet to sign off on the withdrawal, as a 10-day letter must be provided in accordance with Indiana Trial Rules.
Fortunately for Andrew, his two other attorneys have not filed to withdraw.
The legal twist comes as the stars are gearing up for a nasty trial.
Andrew was granted primary physical custody of their toddler after Amber was arrested for domestic violence against him in July 2019.
The exes share joint legal custody, allowing the Teen Mom OG star three unsupervised visits a week with James.
The MTV star filed a petition to modify parenting time, requesting overnight visitation with James.
A judge ruled on Amber’s request in February by ordering the two to resolve their parenting issues out of court and in mediation within 60 days of the order.
In court papers exclusively obtained by The Celeb Report, the mediation that took place on May 24 was “unsuccessful.”
Amber does have the option to request a court hearing in the custody case.
A source previously revealed to The Celeb Report: “The last mediation they had didn’t go favorably for Amber.
“They’ve been trying to work out an agreement in mediation but they just haven’t been able to get anything settled. Now, this is likely headed for trial.”
The insider added: “Amber is doing really well, it’s hard because she isn’t even allowed overnight visits.”
In Amber’s request, she claimed there has been a “change in circumstances” that “warrant” an adjustment to their custody agreement.
She claimed that according to Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines, parenting time is increased to include overnights when the child turns 3.
Amber claimed it is in the “best interest” of James that “the current parenting time be modified to include overnight parenting time.”
Though Amber didn’t receive more time with her son, she did have a victory in their court war.
Amber previously claimed in court papers that Andrew went against their custody agreement by refusing to let her see their son the week of Christmas.
The Teen Mom OG star also claimed Andrew failed to complete the necessary intake documents and pay the retainer for the Parenting Time Coordinator.
She requested Andrew be “held in contempt of court,” which could result in jail time or a fine, for failing to follow the court’s order.
The Celeb Report previously reported that an Indiana judge sided with Amber, as Andrew was found in contempt of court.
He was ordered to pay a fine of $250 for each.
Andrew was also ordered to pay $500 toward Amber’s Attorney fees within 30 days of the court order.
Amber is also mom to daughter Leah, 12, with ex-fiance Gary Shirley.
On the latest season of the MTV show, Leah told her mother she didn’t want to work on their relationship because she has been inconsistent in her life.
But in May, Amber revealed she was getting ready to see her daughter and son.
Amber is currently on the outs with Gary as well, as she accused him and his wife Kristina of not pushing Leah to make amends with her.
