TEEN Mom 2 star Ashley Jones admitted that her baby daddy Bar’s ankle monitor “measured the alcohol content in his blood” following his DWI.
The 24-year-old set the record straight in a tweet on Tuesday.
As fans wondered why Bar wore an ankle monitor on the latest episode of Teen Mom 2, the MTV star took to Twitter to explain: “Let me clarify , Bars ankle thing was not monitoring his location , it measured the alcohol content in his blood !”
The couple share three-year-old daughter Holly.
Ashley and Bariki have had a tumultuous relationship, while she accused him of domestic abuse during their early years on MTV’s Young & Pregnant.
The two have been off and on consistently, but seem to be moving forward seriously at this stage of their relationship.
Last month, Ashley hinted at a secret wedding in a new post as she referred to herself as her baby daddy’s WIFE.
The mom looked gorgeous in a form-fitting pink paisley dress with bell sleeves as she sat in Bariki’s lap, captioning her shot: “He know his wife a winner.”
The reality star announced her spot on Teen Mom 2 earlier in April with a preview clip of her on-and-off-again boyfriend proposing.
Meanwhile, Bariki previously shocked their fans on April Fool’s Day when he posted a fake pregnancy announcement.
The young father shared a photo of a baby scan, but revealed his joke in the bottom right corner, writing: “Just practicing IDK who’s baby this is.”
The Teen Mom star’s followers were not pleased, as they rushed to the comments to slam him for the “childish” and “disrespectful” behavior.
“I wish grown a** people would stop doing this childish a** prank. Not something to joke about,” one ranted.
Before Ashley became the newest cast member on Teen Mom 2, she previously starred on Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant.
She recently spoke out about her decision to leave Young & Pregnant, as she revealed that she “no longer felt a connection” with her castmates.
During an Instagram Q&A, the young mom explained: “I always said that I felt a special connection with Young & Pregnant because that’s where I started and where I wanted to finish.
“After the last reunion and a few other situations played out, I no longer feel that connection or need to hold on.
“So when the opportunity presented itself this time around, I took it,” she elaborated.
