TEEN Mom 2 fans mocked Ashley Jones and Bar Smith for having dinner at Jack in the Box after their secret wedding.
The duo tied the knot before filming for the MTV reality show and their romance hit the rocks shortly after.
Ashley shared what should have been exciting news with viewers during Tuesday’s Teen Mom 2 season premiere.
She confessed that she and Bar had tied the knot prior to filming, adding that they didn’t even exchange vows at a local court house.
The MTV star told cameras: “While the cameras weren’t around, Bar and I went and got married.
“It wasn’t even a court house ceremony. We just had my mom sign the documents.
“We didn’t take a single photo, we didn’t have a nice dinner.”
She continued: “I literally think we went to Jack in the Box.”
Fans had a field day with the big reveal, shaming the duo for their low-key wedding day and their relationship drama.
One fan wrote: “Bar is such a bum but I can’t help but root for him and hope for his fam he’ll do better.”
Another added: “Why get married if your relationship is as up and down as Ashley and Bar’s is?”
A third fan wrote: “No f**king way Ashley was cool with eloping and no pictures. She’d want to throw a gigantic party. There was another reason for this.”
Ashley explained her decision to rush the wedding during the episode.
She explained to viewers: “I had two things going on that are the reasons why I wanted to just sign the paper work.
“No. 1 Bars family and I can’t get along for the life of them. and No. 2 COVID.”
BAR’S STRUGGLES
Ashley’s husband confessed: “Even though we’re married now, things between us have been super rocky.”
He revealed: “I have to serve 15 days in county jail for the DUI situation.”
Bar also spoke about a potential gun charge against him, sighting an incident that took place at Ashley’s graduation party.
“If they decide to pick up the case and charge me, they can,” he said, seemingly worried.
He and Ashley sat down during the episode to discuss the drama between them.
Bar confessed: “I know that I have been extremely stagnant and stopped doing s**t.
“I have a trend of doing that over the last five, six years.”
Ashley said in a voiceover: “Bar’s been saying he wants to change his ways, but giving his legal troubles it seems like a lot of talk no action.”
Chatting with a friend later in the episode, she revealed: “I haven’t even been wearing my ring.”
She confessed during the discussion that her feelings for Bar had changed, too.
“I think I’m in love with the idea of what he could be,” she said.
At the end of Tuesday’s episode, Ashley and Bar came together again to talk about their marriage.
Ashley presented Bar with the option of ending things, to which he replied: “Being broken up is the last thing I want.”
As the conversation ramped up, she asked: “What have you built for this family to sustain everything? to sustain out lifestyle? I need you to meet me halfway.”
ON THE ROCKS
Ashley opened up about her struggles with Bar during Teen Mom Family Reunion as well.
She said on the show she was afraid to divorce her beau and find herself “like sad Kim Kardashian.”
Ashley opened up to Teen Mom 2 costar Leah Messer about the status of her marriage.
The pair were chatting about Leah’s new romance when the West Virginia native inquired: “So what are you and Bar gonna do after this?”
Ashley responded in an uncertain manner, saying: “I don’t know. Obviously we’re gonna go back to the same house, but you know I think maybe, like, therapy.”
She elaborated in a confessional, revealing: “Right now, my relationship with Bar is just at a space where it need some TLC and if it doesn’t get that, it could fall apart.”
Ashley told Leah: “I don’t want to be like Kim Kardashian and be like ‘I feel like a loser’, like, I got married and divorced in 72 f**king hours.
“Not really, I’ve been married a month, but I don’t want to be married and divorced in the same year.”
