FARRAH Abraham has received backlash from fans who believe she is “forcing” her pre-teen daughter to “act like an adult.”
The Teen Mom OG alum has been called out over her plastic surgeries of late as many find her “unrecognizable.”
Farrah, 29, shared a photo to her daughter Sophia’s Instagram recently after the two finished up at a hair appointment.
The 12-year-old looked very grown up in the picture, which featured a filter that smoothed out her skin.
Fans were not pleased by the post, as they slammed the mother of one on Reddit for “forcing” her daughter to look and act grown up.
“Sophia does not look happy at all,” one noted, starting a discussion with many others.
“This poor child. Disgusting that her mother filters her pictures, at all,” one agreed.
“Poor girl. Farrah filters the crap out of her face.. her mother has had so much surgery she’s unrecognizable…I feel strongly that she will get surgery like her mom and it makes me sad. Poor girl… her family is insane,” another ranted.
“This is so filtered it looks photoshopped,” a third noted, adding: “STOP FILTERING YOUR CHILDREN’S PHOTOS. DO YOU WANT THEM TO DEVELOP INSECURITIES AND BODY ISSUES BC THAT’S HOW YOU DEVELOP THOSE.”
“She looks like a kid being forced to act like an adult. Sad,” a final put simply.
Last month fans expressed a similar discomfort when Farrah took Sophia to the salon to get blonde highlights.
After her appointment, the pre-teen looked much older as her hair was lightened and straightened.
The mother-daughter duo were pleased with the results as they flaunted their new styles on Instagram.
However fans complained that the TV personality was making her daughter “mature” much too fast, and urged her to slow down and enjoy the young years.
“Seriously. This is a child. Let her be one for once,” one wrote furiously.
Farrah’s followers have been concerned for the controversial parent as lately she has appeared “unrecognizable” in her social media posts.
Many believe she has gone overboard with plastic surgery, altering her face to be much different than when she began her MTV journey.
After posting a confessional on Instagram recently, some claimed the young mom appeared middle-aged.
Farrah spoke to her fans in the clip, and as she reached up to pick her nose she joked: “There is a little part of my brain that fell out there.”
“She looks like she’s in her 50s,” one fan roasted, while a second agreed: “She looks so much older than she is.”
“Ew wtf that is so gross! She is so unwell. It’s just sad at this point man, what a train wreck,” another claimed.
Farrah also shared a few Instagram stories recently where she wore a set of eyelashes, her blonde hairdo, and extra glossy lips.
Her look was a far cry from her early days on MTV, and many reached out with commentary that she should “calm down on the surgery.”
The Teen Mom star has admitted that she’s “so scared” to celebrate her “big golden birthday” as she prepares to turn 30.
