TEEN Mom OG alum Farrah Abraham paid tribute to her late baby daddy Derek Underwood 13 years after he was killed in a car accident.
The 30-year-old remembered Derek in a touching Instagram post on the anniversary of his death.
Farrah took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a video of Derek’s grave, which was decorated with a colorful flower bouquet and a Christmas wrath.
The gravesite was shown from different angles as Peytan Porter’s Therapy played.
Farrah reflected on Derek’s passing in the caption, writing: “13 years later, I’m grateful I see ‘FATHER’ on your headstone today.
“I’m grateful for our family, I’ve learned more about the human condition, bereavement, trauma, loss,& depression.
“Your life has made a world of difference to mine and so many others.”
The ex Teen Mom OG star continued: “In Living Memory, Peace & Love to DEREK UNDERWOOD, The Love Of My Life & FATHER to our amazing & blessed @sophialabraham.
“A thank you, A good bye, A Always in my mind, giving me strength to make the world a better place. Blessed.”
SUDDEN PASSING
Derek tragically lost his life in a motor vehicle accident in 2008 when he was just 18-years-old.
At the time of the accident, Derek allegedly lost control of his car while he was driving.
The car skidded and flipped over onto a power pole, which killed Derek and fellow passenger Zachary Mendoza.
Shortly after his passing, Derek’s sister Kassy told KETV in Omaha that “he would always cook for us, and all his friends, whenever they came to the house, he loved to cook, he was going to go to culinary school.”
His other sister Alissa followed that sentiment, saying that Derek “definitely lived on the edge, but he was responsible, he went to work, came home.”
Derek died just two months before Farrah welcomed their daughter Sophia, who is now 12-years-old.
DEREK’S LOVE NOTE
Back in May, Farrah shared an old love note Derek had written her during their relationship.
In the MySpace message, Derek typed “I miss u” with a small love heart hundreds of time.
“When I have a hard day, this note will forever give me love, cheer me up,” the MTV alum captioned an Instagram Story of the note.
She added: “Forever and ever and ever and ever.”
Farrah previously remembered Derek by visiting his gravesite in May.
In a video shared to Instagram, Farrah and Sophia decorated Derek’s headstone with Happy Birthday balloons and signs.
The former TV star spoke about her former partner, stating: “He was not only a gift to a mother at one time, but he is a reminder he gave me one of the biggest gifts of my lifetime.”

On the 12th anniversary of Derek’s death, Farrah honored his memory in a video shared on TikTok and Instagram.
In the clip, Farrah and Sophia stood with Derek’s parents under a street sign made in his honor.
The ex reality star broke down in tears as she dedicated the video to others who “may feel depressed” about the holiday.
Farrah said: “I hope you know you are strong, it’s healthy to feel many emotions & even over many years, decades even with trauma therapy, anti-depressants it’s normal to be sad especially around holidays, coldness, darkness possibly when the tragic event happened.
“Wishing the loved one was there and new challenges unforeseen. Peace and positivity your way.”
