In her new Instagram Story, she said she found ‘a few tumors’ in her spine, asking for ‘#PrayersPlease’

On Friday, Jenelle, 29, shared a sad health update on her Instagram Story about her spine, which fans may know is an issue for her.

She began: “Haven’t been feeling great lately. If I take more breaks from social media just know I’m resting.

“I recently found a few tumors in my spine.”

The ex MTV star added that while she loves “making content,” health is the top priority right now.

“Some days are better than others, but most days are painful.”

She concluded her message, set on a Holiday backdrop, “#PrayersPlease.”

‘IT’S A WAITING GAME NOW’

The former TV star suffers from the disorder syringomyelia, which causes a fluid-filled cyst (called a syrinx) to develop within the spinal cord.

The symptoms include headaches, pain in the neck, arms and back, loss of reflexes and muscle weakness. In some cases it can lead to paralysis.

Jenelle frequently posts about the condition on her TikTok page, often “dueting” other users who have it.

Earlier in December, she posted a gloomy TikTok screaming along to an emo song, lipsyncing the lyrics: “I don’t need drugs, because I’m already high enough.

She captioned the video: “Checkup with my #neurosurgeon.”

She then wrote over the clip, seemingly quoting her doctors: “When you already have a growing cyst in your spine… and the doctors ‘can’t help you. When you become paralyzed go to the ER.'”

“The scariest news a doctor can tell you, in my opinion,” one user commented.

Another user supportively enquired about Jenelle’s recollection of her doctors being dismissive, writing: “Most doctors probably have to be cautious when treating because of your past addictions, but also, paralysis from a cyst on your spine is rare.”

Jenelle replied: “Well my cyst keeps growing and I have hemangoimatas on my vertebrae now that weren’t there 6 months ago.”

Other users slammed Jenelle for “dramatizing” her medical problems.

One wrote: “What do you do when a doctor tells you you’re going to be paralyzed? Make a Tik Tok of course!”

In another TikTok from July, Jenelle dueted a user who used a voiceover to answer the question, “Isn’t it scary to know you’re going be paralyzed?”

Jenelle nodded, captioning the video: “It’s a waiting game now.”

JENELLE SHARES HER PAIN

The star first broke the news about her condition on her Instagram Stories in March, saying she was “in shock.”

She elaborated in a YouTube vlog called, “My Neck, My Back.”

The mother of three said she was battling daily headaches and dealing with her neck “cracking 10 times a day.”

Jenelle – who is married to David Eason – had an MRI in February, which first revealed the cyst in her spine.

‘KIND OF SCARY’

“It’s kind of scary. I feel like slowly I’m losing my ability in my hands and I really need that. I really need my hands,” she said in her vlog.

Jenelle- who is mom to Jace, 11, Kaiser, six, and Ensley, four– added: “It really sucks. It had to be the worst thing ever when I got my results.”

She was left bedridden after having a resulting spine procedure – and is apparently often bedridden – said that it went a “lot worse than planned.”

“When they put the dye in… y’all I felt like I had a dagger in my back. It was bad,” she said.

It’s not the first time Jenelle’s family has faced a health crisis.

Back in November, she revealed Kaiser had an infected abscess on his groin that was affecting his lymph nodes.
