TEEN Mom Kailyn Lowry shared that fans weren’t impressed with the guest room furniture she ordered for her Delaware dream home.
Kailyn wasn’t shy to share that she was a little annoyed that fans weren’t as enthusiastic as her about the modern furniture.
First, Kailyn shared a photograph of the guest room ottomans which she claimed to be “obsessed” over.
The cylindrical-shaped ottoman had a gold base and a white coarse-fur-like upholstery with a black abstract squiggly-line design over the top of it.
Next, Kailyn revealed the entire guest room furniture set up, complete with the two matching ottomans, dressers, and then the bed.
The look was quite modern and everything was black, white, and gold themed.
Kailyn, 29, captioned the reveal: “Guest room furniture,” and then at the bottom of the post put a bar with a heart emoji at the base so that fans could interact with the Teen Mom’s post and slide the heart emoji all the ways to the top of the bar to express how much they liked the set up.
The mom-of-four was flustered when she found out that many of her fans had only slid the bar partially to the top.
She started: “I’m cracking up,” sounding slightly offended, but acting casually about it.
She started: “For the first time ever since I’ve gotten Instagram, I looked at the results and some of y’all really only slide it halfway. Y’all really take that seriously.
Kailyn continued: “I guess in my head, if people love it, they would swipe it all the way and if they don’t like, they’d just skip the whole slide in general, but you guys, I can’t with y’all!”
ALREADY TILED OF IT!
Kailyn has continued to show previews of the construction and interior decoration process of her new Delaware mansion, which she dropped $99K on over four acres to build the 6-bedroom home.
Earlier this month, Kailyn showed fans the bathroom tile floor and was slammed by fans saying it looked “tacky.”
In the latest update, Kailyn showed off her new bathroom tiles on her Instagram Stories, preparing for the mixed opinions she’d receive from fans.
In the snap, the young mom showcased the floor tiles layed out before giving her followers a closer look at the design.
The light-colored tiles mimicked a distressed look appearing cracked with jagged edges.
She included the caption: “You’ll either love it or hate it there’s no in between.”
Reddit users responded to her caption with their take on the design with one writing: “I thought this was broken tile, this is awful.”
Another agreed commenting: “looks like the kids already scribbled all over it lol.”
A third echoed the statement replying: “It looks like one of her kids scribbled across the floor. Imagine having so much money that you buy… this.”
Backlash continued to poor in as another person wrote: “It just looks dirty”
One user dispised the style choice saying: “Who in the world would possibly love this”
The TV star also shared a snap of a more traditional tile design she put in the jack and jill bathroom for her two oldest sons.
Last month, the Teen Mom 2 star took to her Instagram Stories to share updates on the building process.
Kailyn posted: “People have messaged me asking for a house update.
“Unfortunately, I wish I could say that there is more of an update, but there’s just really not.
“It looks like they’re starting the insulation process… like this is new laundry stuff.”
Walking around the home, she pointed out: “They got like the wiring in… This is the game room/ playroom.
“This is in the main room, great room, and this is going to be a custom shelf unit.
LAVISH HOME
After guiding fans through several parts of the home, Kailyn gave an overview at the mansion’s massive inside on the ground level, which features multiple large rooms, a grand entrance area, and a staircase leading up to another level.
Once upstairs, the reality star focused on what would become the bedrooms for Kailyn and her four sons.
“That’s your room,” she said as her son Lux stood behind wooden bars making up the base of his new place.
She showed off the walk-in closet he’ll have, as well as the rest of the 4-year-old’s space.
TRUE FEELINGS
In the spring, Kailyn announced that she was building a brand new home, one with ample room for her and her four sons, Isaac, 11, Lincoln, seven, Lux, four, and Creed, one.
However, in August, the mother of four shared her true feelings about building a home from the ground up.
After one of her followers asked: “What is your favorite part about the building process?”
She replied: “Well, I don’t have a favorite part because I hate this process.
“I thought that I was going to absolutely love building a house. I thought it was going to be so much fun.”
NEW LOOK
Kailyn’s home isn’t the only thing which recently got an upgrade.
The star chopped off her long locks and dyed her hair bleach blond as she showed off her beauty makeover in a tell-all Instagram Q&A.
Her hair transformation came after her feud with her ex Chris Lopez who she shares her sons Lux and Creed.
In the Teen Mom’s Instagram stories, Kailyn prompted her fans to “ask her anything” in a tell all Q&A as she was in her car.
One fan asked in the box: “What is happening to your haaaaaaair”?
The question was in response to a photo Kailyn posted where her chopped platinum locks were on display.
She posed pursing her lips and wore glasses matching her green top.
In a follow up question, a fan asked: “Whats your natural hair color??”
Kailyn, 29, shared a throw back photo from back when she was a toddler.
Her hair appeared to be a light strawberry blond hue.
The Teen Mom looked precious as a toddler in a white lace baby-doll style dress and wore yellow flower necklaces.
‘VERY PISSED’
Kailyn’s fresh blonde hairstyle comes after she had accused Chris of buying his partner a $1,000 gift despite “not paying their son’s medical bills.”
The star asked fans how they’d feel about the situation on her Instagram Stories on Sunday.
Kailyn said: “I’m sitting here having a conversation and I need to know what side my followers are on.
“If your partner buys a you a 1,000 git, but doesn’t pay a bill… are you okay with that, or are you pissed?”
Looking serious, she added: “Because if it was me, I would be very pissed.”
Kailyn previously claimed Chris is having another son with another woman.
‘TIRED OF THE DRAMA!’
Kailyn lashed out at her baby daddy – who appeared to be on vacation in Florida with friends – in a lengthy rant on her Instagram story in October.
The Teen Mom 2 star accused Chris Lopez of partying in Miami instead of paying Creed’s medical bills.
He hit back at the claims, denying there was any truth to them.
Chris said on his PTSD podcast: “If you’re gonna tell a story, tell the whole story.
“You can’t tell a story and only tell the part that makes the other person look bad.
“Tell everything.”
He said she shouldn’t be “one sided” and that Kailyn didn’t tell her fans that Chris has “insurance for [his] children that [he] told her about and [she] denied it when [he] offered to help.”
Continuing, he said: “You can’t get on this internet and do all of that when I’m offering to help you.
“I don’t see why I need to come out of pocket when I have something that I don’t need to come out of pocket for.
“I’m tired of the drama.”
During Kailyn’s rant earlier this week, she fired shots at Chris, saying: “You should take care of your financial obligations to your children before going on a trip to Miami.
“You should respond to text messages about medical bills that are unpaid, you should respond to anything that your kid might need before you leave.”
Kailyn went on: “Just because I have it financially does mean that I should be responsible by myself.
“So as a parent, if you’re planning on going out, make sure that your kids are taken care of first.”
