The questions have nothing to do with remembering little-known facts, endless reams of dates or obscure quiz trivia, as instead they are all about applying logic, reasoning skills and common sense.
The participants battle to make it to the end and correctly answer a question that only 1% of the country can get right in order to win up to 100,000 pounds on the show.

But during the latest episode viewers didn’t seem too impressed with the app as they complained it didn’t work properly, with some branding it “s**t”.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Oh my god, the app is so s**t!”
Another added: “There’s no point using the app, it doesn’t even work properly.”
A third fumed: “The 1% Club app is s**t.”
A fourth raged: “This app would be better if the Superdrug mobile ad didn’t pop up randomly.”
A fifth complained: “They need to sort this app out, so difficult to use.”
But viewers all complained about the app saying it was “s**t” as it didn’t work properly
