The Apprentice fans point out huge blunder with ‘lie’ about when show cars arrive at mansion

THE APPRENTICE fans have called out the show to “tell the truth” after a massive blunder.

On last Thursday night’s episode of the BBC hit, the remaining candidates were woken up at 4am and told they had 20 minutes to get ready for their new assignment.

The candidates were shown dressed ‘twenty minutes later’ when it was bright daylight

In the opening shot, the house where they’re staying is barely visible as it’s the complete dark of night – but somehow in the 20 minutes they were given to get dressed, it was pure daylight in the time they leave.

Eagle-eyed viewer was quick to pick up on the error, and started questioning how that came to be.

“4am the cars will be outside in 20 mins,” wrote one. “It’s dark outside as you can see through the windows of the house. Then supposedly 20 mins later bright daylight.

“Are the producers stupid or just think we are?”

“The Apprentice. Phone rings 4am. Cars in 20 minutes. Unless they are meeting Sugar in the dark where is the house? Hebrides?” quizzed another.

“4am pitch dark – 20 minutes later broad daylight!” said a third.

However, it seems like this is more of an editing error on the show’s part – with former winner Sian Gabbidon previously explaining it was a nightmare to get those 4am wake-up calls, particularly when they had to scramble to get ready.

Talking exclusively to the Sun, Sian explained: “It’s a good time if you’ve got five minutes because you’d have that many people in the house, what 15 of you, if they had you’d be like…

“Okay, well, I’m gonna jump in the shower, do my make-up, do my hair, especially for girls and I’ve got Afro hair, I needed to try and straighten my hair, literally do something in five minutes,” she said.

“You literally didn’t get that much time and that was a genuine get ready, jump in the shower, do your make-up and get downstairs and be ready to leave the door.”

She managed to keep it together though – and even impressed Lord Sugar enough for win a £250,000 investment in her fund.

Sian is now the proud owner of SNME The Label – with Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague and Maura Higgins, Michelle Keegan and Towie’s Chloe Sims among her customers.

The finals are getting closer and for the second time in a row, the final interviews will be an all-female candidate affair.

Dani Donovan, Marnie Swindells, Megan Hornby, Rochelle Anthony and Victoria Goulbourne will all be fighting for Lord Sugar’s next investment.
