Lord Alan Sugar will be back to put the contestants through their paces accompanied by Baroness Karren Brady, series 1 winner Tim Campbell MBE and Claude Littner, who will join the team for two episodes.

The business show will be back bigger and better than ever next year as Lord Sugar searches for his 17th business partner with a life-changing £250,000 investment up for grabs.

As ever, the hopefuls will have to get amongst the public each week in order to show off their skills and attempt to win them around with their ideas however outlandish they may be.

But it won’t be on British soil that the contestants get to work in the opening of the brand new series.

This huge twist will see the opening of the show set against a more unique backdrop than the traditional London skyline and boardroom.

For the hopefuls which survive the first round, a number of tough challenges will await them in the brand new series.

The brainboxes will be challenged with creating their own cartoon, engaging in the world of male beauty, selling street food and immersing themselves in spectacular show-stopping events all to test whether they have the correct business acumen that is required to work alongside the business titan that is Lord Sugar.

The show has gone from strength to strength with last series peaking at 8.9 million viewers during the premiere – the highest figure since the 2017 final.

Alongside the regular show, comedian Tom Allen will be back as host of the spin-off show You’re Fired!, which will air each week on BBC Two, straight after the main show featuring a panel of celebrity pundits.
