THE Apprentice viewers have all been questioning just how long it takes the candidates to get ready each morning.
In the weekly episodes, fans of the BBC show see contestants abruptly awoken to be told that their latest task will begin imminently.
Yet despite the apparent tight deadlines, the whole group always seem to look – without fail – the picture of sophisticated grace.
On Thursday night’s episode, the phone inside the house rings at the crack of dawn as a woman down the end of the phone warns: “The cars will be outside in 30 minutes.”
Rushing upstairs, candidate Nick Showering alerts the rest of the house to let them know they have just half an hour to get ready.
However, viewers were soon left questioning the scene, with many claiming that there’s “absolutely no way” that they get ready within that timeframe.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer fumed: “There is not a chance in hell that the women in The Apprentice are waking up at 4am and getting ready in 30 minutes. Not a chance.”
Echoing their comments, someone else said: “There’s no way they’re all getting ready in 30 minutes. Such a ridiculous scene.”
A third, meanwhile, directed a tweet at Lord Alan Sugar and complained: “I always enjoy the show, but can the producers stop with the lie each series that the contestants get ready in 30 minutes?”
The Apprentice is known for pushing candidates to the limits, but conditions can be even more gruelling than they appear on TV.
It comes after former star Sabrina Stocker lifted the lid on the show – revealing how contestants survive on four hours sleep a night.
The 26-year-old revealed how women would get up a bit earlier and get ready and go back to sleep, so they would be on time in the mornings.
The Apprentice continues on Thursday nights at 9pm on BBC One.
