WEARING a red suit to appear on BBC Breakfast, The Apprentice winner Marnie Swindells looked every inch a boss lady.
But unfortunately for Marnie, 28, her suit was the same colour as the sofa on the BBC news programme and viewers were quick to notice her fashion mishap during her interview with BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty.

Taking to Twitter, Marnie was ridiculed for her poor choice of outfit. So much so, one viewer wrote: “Perfect camouflage with the sofa.”
While another penned: “Why didn’t they pre-warn this woman that she would be sat on a red sofa.”
A third said: “She blends in well with the sofa.”
Marnie was announced as the winner of the show and secured an investment of £250,000 from Lord Alan Sugar for her boxing gym business.
The court advocate and gold medal winning boxer, pipped fellow contender Rochelle Anthony to the post to be crowned winner.
The young entrepreneur was one of 18 candidates who were competing to for an investment.
When filming for this year’s The Apprentice started, in the summer of 2022, Marnie listed her career with the show as “court advocate”.
But she’s since quit and is now launching her own boxing club called Bronx, in South London.
Marnie shared with her Instagram followers the reason behind her brave decision to join the show.
She said: “Walking away from a career that I literally tortured myself to get was hard, but you know what’s harder? Staying in a place when you know you have more to give.”
She added: “Don’t play it safe, don’t get comfortable and don’t ever settle for less than what you are capable of.Be bold enough to close one chapter, in order to open the next.”
