Now onto its eleventh series, this entertaining and refreshingly different dating show follows five more Aussie farmers – including sheep and cattleman Will – as they go hunting for love.

Widower Gary lives in Adelaide with his 11-year-old daughter Emma and struggles with the recent death of his wife, Emma’s mother.

His life is then turned upside down – literally – one day, by a violent car collision with a mysterious woman called Mary.

In the days and weeks that follow, Gary and Emma keep bumping into Mary, as if fate’s trying to bring them together.

So far, so standard romantic drama. There’s just one problem – Mary has a secret, a secret that makes her run for the hills every time she and Gary get too close. What could she be hiding?

Vikings: Valhalla (Netflix)

If your idea of an enjoyable night in is cosying up on the sofa and watching hordes of hairy, armour-clad men regularly engaging in bloody fights to the death, yelling loudly over the constant clanging of swords hitting shields, then you’re in luck.

Set 100 years after the events of the hugely popular Vikings, this spectacular new eight-part spin-off tells the story of some of the most famous Vikings of them all, explorer Leif Eriksson, ambitious Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson and Leif’s headstrong sister Freydis.

With tensions rising at home, these three set off on an epic and dangerous journey to England and beyond, a journey that promises blood, guts and a whole load of glory.

After an act of sabotage at a nuclear power plant plunges the whole of Belgium into darkness, anti-terrorism investigator Michael Dendoncker sets out to track down the perpetrators.

But when the country’s Prime Minister receives a video clip of her daughter bound and gagged, along with a message stating that she’ll be killed when the power goes back on.

Michael then realises this case is far bigger and more terrifying than he realised.
