Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star – BBC3
Ten aspiring make-up artists are about to boldly glow where no man or woman has glowed before. Yes, it’s the return of the show that gives the UK’s most talented wannabe MUAs the chance to prove their skills in front of the nation – and to win a contract assisting the world’s top make-up artists.
Once again, Maya Jama is in charge, while regular judges Dominic Skinner and Val Garland – along with a host of guest experts – sort the MUA wheat from the chaff over a series of tough challenges and professional assignments.
Safe to say, this year’s crew are an intriguing bunch – from colourful and highly individual Sophie, to bubbly Bolton student Ryan, there’s some fun and phenomenally skilled folk taking part.
Expect tears, laughter, spectacular transformations and even a few of Val’s coveted “ding-dongs” along the way.

The Essex Serpent – Apple TV+
After the death of her husband, grieving Victorian widow Cora Seaforth (Claire Danes) packs herself, her maid and her son off to the Essex coast to investigate intriguing reports of a mysterious, giant serpent that’s been terrorising the locals and livestock living around the waters of the estuary.
There she meets sceptical vicar Will (Tom Hiddleston) as well as superstitious villagers, who begin to believe Cora might be responsible for the serpent’s supposed reign of terror. A strong cast – which also includes Frank Dillane, Clémence Poésy and Hayley Squires – helps make this gloomy, gothic costume drama a creepy treat.

Eurovision Song Contest 2022 Semi Finals – BBC3 & iPlayer
Get ready for the greatest show on Earth! With just 20 free slots available in next weekend’s Eurovision grand final, 35 nations are sending their best and, in some cases, most bonkers songs to Turin, Italy, to battle for a place in the world’s biggest music event.
Scott Mills and Rylan Clark are our guides, with Tuesday’s show featuring intergalactic wolves from Norway and Latvia’s notorious ‘p***sy’ eco-anthem, while Thursday’s opening act is Finnish Noughties rockers The Rasmus with bookies’ favourites Ukraine and Sweden in contention, and Ireland also vying for a place. Oh, and that host you half-recognise? Yep, it’s Mika of Grace Kelly fame.

The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills – Hayu
It’s time for more drama, glamour and fun as the ladies are joined by new housewife Diana Jenkins and friend Sheree Zampino. While straight-talking Diana might be new to the group of friends, she’s no stranger to the luxury lifestyle, having married into a staggering banking fortune.
However, she has no time for gossip as she focuses on expanding her family following a traumatic miscarriage. Meanwhile, Erika attempts to put the drama behind her as she moves on from her divorce, but in true Erika style, it’s not long before she ruffles a few feathers.
And tension soon spreads throughout the housewives when one of the ladies is less than sympathetic after Dorit’s home is broken into. As always, there’s plenty of laughs too, as the ladies live it large and jet off on not one but two luxury breaks in Aspen and Mexico.

Love In The Jungle – Discovery+
Everyone loves dating shows, right? And everyone loves nature series too, yes? Well, someone at Discovery has had the genius idea of combining the two – and this is the result.
Shot on a private eco-reserve in Colombia, the series takes 14 buff and beautiful American singletons hunting for love – like the outgoing Dishon and Lynsey – forbids them from talking and instead gets them to take part in some of the most spectacular and elaborate mating rituals found in the natural world, in the attempt to attract a mate.
Yes, it’s as crackers as it sounds and although we’re not sure Sir David Attenborough would approve, it’s also hugely watchable.

The craze for all things Korean continues with this enjoyable 12-part romantic comedy about a young woman, Ha-ri (Kim Se-jeong), who agrees to go on a blind date in place of her friend, only to discover it’s with the CEO of the company she works for. Intrigue ensues.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta – hayu
It’s season 14 of the bling-tastic reality series and Sheree Whitfield is back as a full-time cast member. There’s fireworks and fabulousness as she, Kandi Burruss and the crew juggle family, work and romance.
Conversations With A Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes – Netflix
Conversations With A Killer turns its gory attention to John Wayne Gacy, aka the Killer Clown, who brutally murdered at least 33 young men in 1970s Chicago. Featuring genuine audio footage recorded during Gacy’s incarceration, it’s utterly chilling.
Clark – Netflix
Bill Skarsgård stars in this rip-roaring crime drama, based on the colourful real-life story of charismatic Swedish gangster Clark Olofsson. And while you might not have heard of him, you’re likely to know the term ‘Stockholm syndrome’, which he inspired. In Swedish with subtitles.
Signora Volpa – Acorn TV
Picturesque Italy provides the stunning backdrop for the crime-solving adventures of disillusioned British spy Sylvia Fox (Emilia Fox), who discovers her talent for detective work when she clears up a baffling crime involving her niece’s fiancé. A murder-mystery-flavoured, action-packed treat.
