THE Bidding Room fans were left gobsmacked after a 115 year old VIBRATOR was flogged for a staggering amount.

Guest Matt brought along an item that he hoped would get the dealers buzzing on Tuesday’s episode.

He presented the vibrator also known back then as a “blood circulator” or “pulsator” to the antiques expert.

The guest explained: “It’s very cutting-edge for the technology of the time, it’s also very wonderfully mad.”

Speaking to host Nigel Havers, he said that the piece of medical equipment was from the Edwardian era, around 1900, and was supposed to cure various ailments.

The expert was fascinated by the hand-operated gadget which had different levels of speed and a winding function.

First purchasing it for £45 five years ago, the expert predicted it would sell between £100 to £150.

Matt then showed the five dealers the device leaving them equally impressed.

He explained that people over a century ago would believe that the metal instrument would help to reduce a number of conditions including flatulence, earache and aches.

The dealers were thrilled to give the device a go, testing it out on their arm and head.
