The docuseries can be streamed on Apple TV+ starting Friday.

According to Apple, the docuseries is split into four-part – each episode telling “the unbelievable true story of larger-than-life attorney Eric C Conn, who defrauded the government and taxpayers over half a billion dollars in the largest Social Security fraud case in United States history.”

In order to watch The Big Conn, viewers must be subscribed to Apple TV+.

What is The Big Conn about?

The Big Conn tells the true story behind Eric C Conn, former Eastern Kentucky lawyer, and his scam against the Social Security Administration back in the early 2000s.

Conn and his accomplice, Judge David Dougherty, ripped off over $500million from the federal government, causing it to cut off benefits from former clients.

According to Brian Lazarte, co-creator of the docuseries, “The takeaway theme is about the consequences of ignoring a problem.”

Lazarte and James Lee Hernandez wanted the docuseries to highlight the flaws within a system that allowed Conn and Dougherty to commit fraud for numerous years.

The series includes interviews with Conn, himself, his former employees, journalists, Congressional aides, senators and more.
