THE Cabins’ Jess broke down in tears after date Joel walked out without saying goodbye – leaving fans fuming.
The pair were not on great terms coming into their second day on the ITV2 dating show.
Jess had her hesitations with Joel, thinking the 23-year-old was a bit to young for her, a 24-year-old.
Trying to create a spark, the pair made a roast dinner together with a little help from Jess’ nan.
But even that came up short with undercooked vegetables and dull conversation.
Joel clearly figured out Jess wasn’t into her and said he wanted to go to bed, but she tried again by suggesting a game of truth Jenga.
When she was asked if Joel was his type, she said “no” – and the binman looked crushed.
He finally went to bed without her, with Jess deciding to stay up, finish her drink and sing karaoke on her own.
In bed, Joel had to put the pillow on his head to try and block out the noise.
The next day they both decided to leave “as friends” but after packing everything away, Joel left without saying goodbye.
As she watched him walk, Jess rang her friend in tears and said: “I’m here all on my own.”
The Cabins viewers were furious at Joel’s behaviour at the last moment.
One person said: “Why did Joel just walk away like that?! He must be a really sensitive soul, you can still be friends with her mate! It felt like she didn’t want to date him so he spat his dummy out. Make it make sense.”
Another added: “Can’t believe he left without saying goodbye how rude”
A third remarked: “Joel has literally made me livid! How rude is he?”
