Sunday evening saw the fifth instalment of the latest series of the BBC drama hit our screens.

The Capture is about the life of detective Rachel Carey, as she works on a secret case that involves digital intelligence and deepfake technology.

Throughout the one hour episode – named Imposter Syndrome – many viewers took part in a live commentary on Twitter.

Although many praised the instalment for its twist and turns, others took to the social media platform to highlight how confused they were.

One asked: “Anyone else lost right now. #TheCapture.”

The Capture premiered back in September 2019, then in June the following year it was revealed that it had been commissioned for a second series.
