Green room preparations
Contestants, starting their day at 8 am, are taken to the green room where producers guide them through trial questions to familiarize themselves with the format. Nicola revealed that they were instructed to bring five outfits, each inspected to avoid clashes or offensive logos. Hair and makeup touch-ups were also part of the preparation process before filming commenced at 10 am and wrapped up by midday.
Bradley Walsh's off-camera persona
Nicola shared a different side of host Bradley Walsh, noting that he was initially focused on other tasks before interacting with the contestants. Walsh, displaying a humorous and supportive demeanor, referred to the contestants as the "best pub quiz team in the land" and encouraged them to excel in the game.
