THE Chase fans all had the same reaction to Tuesday evening’s episode as the show returned following the Queen’s funeral.
The much-loved ITV quiz show returned to screens today after the channel was forced to ditch a number of shows to make way for rolling news coverage.

It comes following the death of the Queen at the age of 96 on Thursday, 8 September.
As viewers shared in their delight of The Chase being back on air, which is presented by Bradley Walsh, they were introduced to four brand new contestants.
Mary, Laura, Adrian and Robert all came together in the hope that they can beat the Chaser.
Anne Hegerty was revealed as the Chaser to beat, as the quizzer tried her best to sabotage the team’s efforts to win cash.

And those watching at home were left “delighted” as the show cemented itself back on the box.
Alongside an array of red love heart emojis, one person penned: “The Chase has finally returned to its normal slot on ITV. Hallelujah!”
Echoing their comments, someone else said: “So happy that The Chase has returned. I was so lost without it!”
While a third added: “The Chase is back! Oh, how I’ve missed Bradley Walsh…”
The ITV quiz show normally airs at 5pm on weekdays, but did not broadcast yesterday as the network focused on coverage of the Queen’s state funeral.
Her Majesty was finally reunited with her beloved Prince Philip after an emotional last journey from London to Windsor Castle.
Her son, King Charles, stood shoulder to shoulder with his grieving relatives during the hour-long goodbye.
And the world watched as the woman, who was never meant to be sovereign but dedicated her life to her service, was given a historic send-off.
It came to a poignant finish as the her casket was lowered to lie beside her “strength and stay”, the Duke of Edinburgh, who died last year aged 99.
