The Chase fans demand twisted new rule for Bradley Walsh game show – and it’s total genius

THE Chase fans have demanded a twisted new rule for the Bradley Walsh game show.

The ITV programme has aired since 2009 and sees a team of four strangers take on one of the Chasers to try and win big money.

The Chase viewers want a rule change on the show

Viewers want viewers to be penalized for taking a low offer to make it into the Final Chase

The four contestants each have a Cash Builder round, before they go head to head with the Chaser to try and get into the Final Chase, with Bradley, 61, asking the questions throughout the show.

If they succeed, they work as a team to answer as many questions as possible in two minutes, before the Chaser then answers their set of questions in a bid to catch them and send them home empty-handed.

While The Chase has been a huge success, some viewers feel that now is the time to bring in a crucial rule change to keep things interesting.

Many feel that fewer contestants are willing to risk going for the high offer presented to them by the Chaser before their head to head, and it’s making things predictable.

Taking to Twitter, one fan suggested: “There should be a limit on how many people in a team can take the middle or low offer. Every episode has become so boring and predictable.”

Another added: “Should ITV ask them during the audition what offer they’re going to take and if they say the low offer, they’re excluded from participating? #thechase.”

A fellow fan mused: “If I went on #thechase it would really depend who was the chaser if I went High or not… but NEVER low offer.

“They should change the rule, reduce percentage of winnings if you take low offer.”

Meanwhile a fourth wrote: “Change the rules on #thechase no negative offers and if you get through and beat The Chaser, you dont share equally… take home what you won.”

Their demands come as the latest episode saw none of the four contestants go for the higher offer.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
