THE CHASE star Mark Labbett, took to Instagram to ask fans to vote for him at the National Television Awards.
The chaser is better known by his nickname The Beast on the fan-favourite ITV quiz show.
On Saturday, Mark, 56, posted a plea to fans on Instagram asking for their support at the National Television Awards (NTAs).

Mark, along with The Chase host Bradley Walsh and his fellow chasers have been shortlisted for the Daytime Favourite, but they’re up against This Morning duo Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Recognising his tough competition, Mark wrote “Sorry more begging for votes. It’s NTA time again 
#NTA.”
Alongside the caption he posted a selfie of himself looking slimmer than ever in a fitted navy blue suit jacket.
Fans flooded The Beast’s comments with promises to vote, but many were distracted by the TV star’s selfie, which showcased his dramatic weight loss.
One person penned: “Wow!!! You’ve lost some weight!! Well Done Mark!”

A second said: “Jeez!!! Look at you, most of you has disappeared, you look amazing.”
“Had to take a double take, you are looking great!!!” added a third.
“Voted! You look amazing, what’s your secret?” asked a fourth fan.
While a fifth agreed: “My goodness looking good Mark already voted of course. Good luck #teamchase I’m rooting for you as always.”
Mark first appeared on The Chase in 2009 and has been going by the nickname The Beast ever since.
Over the years, the chaser’s personal life and weight loss journey have been a hot topic of conversation for many fans of the quiz show.
He had just split with his wife Katie and used the time apart to focus on his health.
While on Loose Women he revealed that he’d cut carbs from his diet and lost ten stone as a result.
“I’ve been around 26 stone up until lockdown, and then a few things happened quite nicely and came together and I started losing weight,” Mark explained.
In terms of exercise, chasing a toddler around all day seemed to do the trick.
He said: “The principle thing is running around after a hyperactive toddler when nurseries have been shut. How do you keep up with them?
“I found at the end of the evening instead of going to the fridge for late night snacking, all I could do was collapse on the bed.”
The Chase airs on weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
