THE Chase viewers were left doing a ‘double-take’ at TV star lookalike contestant – but do you see the resemblance?
Thursday’s episode of the ITV quiz show saw four new contestants team up to take on The Chaser, Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis.
Makyla joined her teammates Haydn, Roger and Romanda, with Haydn up first.
After Romanda was beaten by Darragh, Makyla stepped up and after her Cash Builder round, managed to make it back to her seat with £5,000.
But as the quiz continued, viewers were a bit distracted by Makyla’s appearance and how she looked like a famous TV star.
With her animal print blouse and short perfectly styled hair, many felt the 50-year-old resembled Anne Diamond.
One wrote on Twitter: “Been thinking who she looks like since the start. Anne Diamond! #TheChase”.
Another tweeted: “Anybody mentioned that she looks like Anne Diamond yet?”
A third added: “Looks like Anne Diamond”.
Roger was last to go and managed to make it back to his seat with £4000.
The team of three then had £9,200 to play for in the Final Chase.
However Darragh was on fine form and managed to catch the team with 30 second to spare, sending them home empty-handed.
Earlier this week, viewers were distracted by a contestant’s annoying habit.
Player Lizzy listened to what Bradley was asking and as she gave her answers, she swayed slightly from side to side, and it proved distracting for some viewers at home.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Stand still you’re making me sick.”
Another added: “Just wish Lizzie would stand still!!”
A third tweeted: “Stand still, Lizzy, I’m getting motion sickness!”
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
